As a luxury residence, the BEYOND is committed to excellence in all areas. As a sustainable hotel in Munich, we promote the careful use of resources and a responsible approach to the environment. At BEYOND, we engage in various measures that contribute to the conservation of resources. These include:

  • the use of 100% climate-neutral green electricity from renewable sources
  • consistent waste separation
  • avoidance of plastic, for example by using tap water as drinking water and not using plastic bottles
  • Facade Beyond by Geisel in Munich at Marienplatz

The rooms of the BEYOND Residence are built according to the latest and thus particularly energy-efficient standards. When choosing our suppliers, we focus on regionality and certified sustainability. The design of the rooms follows a well-planned concept where we use energy efficient electronics such as LED lighting. Bed linens in the hotel rooms are changed every three days per stay instead of every day to avoid wasting resources. In the bathroom, we use sustainably designed products from Aesop.

SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY AND LOCATION OF THE HOTEL

The BEYOND is centrally located in downtown Munich, right at the Marienplatz – which is perfect for arriving by public transportation. Many of Munich’s sights, restaurants and stores are within walking distance of the hotel. So, if desired, our guests can leave their cars behind for both, the arrival and the duration of their stay and explore Munich by foot.

SUSTAINABILITY IN THE BEYOND’S CULINARY

We source the food and drinks in our hotel in Munich from regional suppliers. Thus, we save long journeys and invest sustainably in the local economy. The exclusive and personal service of our hotel also allows us to respond specifically to customer requests and procure food regionally from the market in precisely calculated quantities. In this way, we avoid unnecessary waste.
